Detailed Travel Itinerary
Day 1:
- Arrive at Sonakhali and board a boat/launch for a scenic ride through villages and rivers en route to Gosaba. Breakfast will be served during the journey.
- Visit the Hamilton Bungalow and Rabindranath Tagore’s house in Gosaba.
- Return to the boat and head towards the Bird Jungle. Lunch will be served on board.
- Evening exploration at Pakhiralay, a bird-watching spot.
- Check into the hotel, enjoy a traditional Jhumur dance performance, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2:
- After breakfast at the hotel, board the boat to visit various spots: Sajnekhali (watchtower), Sudhanyakhali (watchtower), Pirkhali, Gazikhali, Choragazikhali, Deul Varani, Banbibi Varani, and Dobanki (watchtower). Lunch will be served on the boat.
- Return to the hotel after exploring Dobanki for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3:
- Check out from the hotel in the morning and board the boat for a local sightseeing tour as we make our way back to Sonakhali.
- From Sonakhali, return to Canning using local transport.

- Lunch: Rice, dal, fried vegetables, taro leaves with Hilsa, Hilsa Paturi (Hilsa wrapped in banana leaves) / Hilsa in mustard sauce, Posto Pabda (Pabda fish in poppy seed paste), chutney, papad
- Afternoon: Fruits
- Evening Snacks: Chicken fritters, tea/coffee
- Dinner: Fried rice, vegetables, chili chicken, salad
